Story & Testimonial

The unique and nurturing atmosphere of TMC is best captured through the stories and testimonials of our parents, teachers, and students, who share their experiences of growth, joy, and discovery.

TMC’s journey comes to life through the stories and testimonials of those who know it best—our parents, teachers, and students! Their experiences reflect the positive impact of our learning environment, showcasing the growth, joy, and connections that make TMC special.

The most memorable things for me are Mak Cik Aunty’s nugget, staying back till the afternoon and taking a nap upstairs in the computer room while drinking milk using feeding bottle, I like outdoor activities so I often got excited when we were going to playground, 师伯private farm, picnic etc.

TMC creates a lot of good memories for me throughout my childhood and it provides me many chance to discover my interests.

I’ve learned to be helpful to others and filial to my parents. I joined volunteer organizations to help others that is in need, and now I’ve furthered my studies in medical field, hoping myself to be able to help more people in the future.

Another thing is I’ve developed reading habits in TMC. I don’t think it’s a value, it’s more of a skill, I want to mention it because it really change my life. In these era of short videos, I can see that the skill of reading really allow me to have longer focus duration, those who watch short videos often have shorter duration of focusing comparatively.

What I cherished the most from my time at TMC was the deep connection with nature. From a young age, I learned how to grow vegetables and fruits, and how to live alongside nature-without fear of mosquitoes. These may seem like simple things, but they've become unforgettable and truly invaluable experiences, especially after growing up and starting life in a big city.

I also deeply appreciate the warm and nurturing environment TMCn created. It allowed me and my childhood friends to grow up happy, healthy, and curious- never falling behind in learning or joy. Even today, the kindergarten continues to hold camps and workshops for alumni, keeping our childhood bonds alive, which is incredibly heartwarming.

There's a saying: "When facing hardships, we heal through the memories of a happy childhood." This resonates so deeply with me. Life comes with challenges, but every time I recall my time at TMC, I find new strength to move forward.

Thank you, for giving me such a rich, fulfilling, and irreplaceable experience-one I will always carry with me.

Hi and warm greetings,

My name is Amal Aqilah, and I am proud to say that I am a former student of Tadika TMC. I began my educational journey at TMC at just 3 years old — and that was where it all began.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the teachers and staff at TMC who played such an important role in shaping my early years.

TMC was more than just a kindergarten — it was a place that nurtured my curiosity, confidence, and love for learning. I still remember the joyful environment, the fun activities, and most of all, the loving and dedicated teachers who made every day meaningful.

What made my experience even more special was the early exposure to Mandarin. TMC introduced me to the language in a fun and engaging way, and this strong foundation allowed me to continue learning Mandarin throughout primary and secondary school, all the way until I successfully completed my SPM. It has become a valuable skill that I still carry with me today.

Now at 20 years old, I’m pursuing my studies in Civil Engineering at UiTM, and I truly believe that the discipline, confidence, and multilingual abilities I have today were first rooted in the nurturing environment of TMC.

Thank you, TMC, for being the starting point of my journey. I will always carry the beautiful memories and valuable lessons with me. May TMC continue to grow and inspire more young minds to dream big and reach even further.

Tadika Matahari Ceria has always been a core memory in my life. When I was young, my parents were busy with work, so I would stay at TMC until 8 o’clock every evening, waiting for them to pick me up. Watching other kids leave one by one never bothered me much—because I had one special companion to keep me company: the library.

The library was my best friend. I would bury my nose in books, diving into different worlds, forgetting about time and loneliness. That early habit of reading became one of the most important foundations in my life. From picture books, I moved on to comics, then to fiction and non-fiction, and now, scientific articles. Time felt slow back then. Time was a novel. Time was a story. But now, time flies—especially with phones and constant distractions. I’m truly grateful for the peaceful environment TMC gave me to fall in love with reading. It gave me the calmness and focus I now rely on in our fast-paced world.

As an engineering student, the ability to read and understand complex scientific articles has become my biggest strength during research. The patience and focus I developed early on continue to guide me on my academic journey.

But TMC didn’t just teach me how to read—it taught me how to love. It was where I first learned the value of family, friendship, and celebration. Whether it was Zoo Day, the Penang trip, Christmas, or Hari Aidilfitri, every event was filled with excitement and warmth. We would dress up, prepare food, and celebrate together. That’s why, even today, I make it a point to prepare gifts and celebrate important dates with my loved ones. Life feels richer that way. I once organized a birthday trip to Pulau Redang with my family, and it became one of our sweetest memories. That value of caring and connection—of making time for others—was something I inherited from the joyful, respectful atmosphere at TMC. The teachers there truly valued us, and in return, we learned to value others.

Lastly, TMC showed me the power of education. As a girl from a small town, I never imagined I could go so far. But today, I am about to graduate with a degree in engineering from Tsinghua University. I’ve visited many places and dared to dream big—and it all began with the confidence TMC gave me. TMC taught me that I was enough—regardless of my gender or where I came from. That belief empowered me to compete with students from around the world with confidence, and to keep learning with humility.

Thank you, TMC, for planting the seeds of who I am today. You are the beginning of my journey—and the reason I strive to bring light, warmth, and sustainability to every corner of my life.

I remember having very good teachers from whom I learnt my English, Chinese and Malay, and it made primary school learning much easier having a good foundation in language.

Other than learning, we did art and craft, singing and playing, in the best place in the kindergarten, our very own playground. The most memorable thing for me is probably playing with my friends. I also remember teachers reading to us, one of the favourites which was “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”.

After graduation, TMC’s principal would still keep in touch, even providing opportunities for us to learn more, revisit old memories and contribute to society. Kindergarten was very fun, stress free and the place where I learnt many good values like generosity and gratitude. Being able to give back to the community that nurtured me when I was young was a joy and blessing, and I am happy to see this tradition being carried on by others like me.

TMC was my first step into the learning journey. Preschool is often seen as a carefree and joyful place. Yet, it is here that many of the most important habits and values are formed, shaping a child’s future. Although I did not spend my entire pre-school time in TMC, what I have learned here shapes a great portion of who I am today: kind, open-minded, eager to learn… TMC has always defined my wonderland, a place where every moment felt magical and carefree. I am deeply grateful that my time at TMC left me with a lasting sense of joy, creating a Utopia in my memories.

As a parent, I truly appreciate the dedication and creativity shown by the teachers at TMC. They are not only caring and professional, but also constantly finding innovative ways to make learning fun and meaningful for the children.

One of the most memorable moments was when I saw the children learning through play and outdoor activities. It shows that the teachers understand how to balance academics with character-building and teamwork. My child always comes home excited to share what they’ve learned.

Thank you to the team at TMC, especially the teachers who make such a positive impact in our children’s early education.

My child absolutely loves this kindergarten! It’s not just about ABCs and 123s, the teachers here really focus on teaching good values like saving money, giving to others, and being kind. Every Friday, they have outdoor learning activities, and my kid always comes home excited to share what they did!

The environment at TMC is safe and comfortable, and the teachers are super friendly. I also love how the kids come from diverse cultural backgrounds , it’s a great way for them to learn respect and understanding from a young age. Totally happy with this place and would definitely recommend it! 👍

Kogi, Tchr. Kwanchit, Cikgu Intan, Cikgu Bella, Cikgu Kyra, Cikgu Aina, Cikgu Siti, Tchr Ngai...
